1-   AERONAUTICAL INFORMATION SERVICE

  

The Aeronautical Information Service, which forms part of the “Office de l'Aviation Civile

et des Aéroports” (OACA), ensures the flow of information necessary for the safety, reguarity

and efficiency within the area of its responsibility as indicated under GEN 3.1.2 below.

It consists of AIS Head­quarter, International NOTAM Office (NOF) and AIS Offices, established

at the aerodromes listed under GEN 3.1.5.

 2- Area of responsibility

  

The Aeronautical Information Service is responsible for the collection and dissemination of information

for the entire territory of Tunisia and for the airspace over the high seas encompassed by the

Tunis FIR/UIR limits.

 

 

  3- Aeronautical publications

 

   The aeronautical information is provided in the form of the Integrated Aeronautical Information

  Package consisting of the following elements:

          and AIRAC SUP.

 

Regular amendements to the CD-ROM will be disseminated every 56 days in compliance with

the AIRAC schedule.

        list appears in part GEN of the AIP Tunisia.  The users are invited to regularly consult the Official Journal

        of the Republic of Tunisia (JORT) and the AIP Tunisia part GEN section GEN 1.6 for the texts published after 

        the date mentioned on the CD-ROM.

  

NOTAM and the related monthly checklists are issued via the Aeronautical Fixed Service (AFS), while

PIB are made available at aerodrome AIS units. All other elements of the package are distributed by mail

 

 

  4- Sale of publications

  

The Aeronautical Information Publications are addressed freely to the foreign AIS on reciprocity

in compliance with ICAO prescriptions about the aeronautical information (Ref. Annex 15 Chapter 3).

    5- SUBSCRIPTION  OR RENEWAL SUBSCRIPTION FOR AIS PUBLICATIONS

   

In order to keep up to date our subscribers list of aeronautical information publications,

all subscribers are invited to file and forward the attached Order form, annexed herewith,

before the end of January of  the current  year.

   

          N.B : The subscriptions not renewed within January 31st in the current year,  will be cancelled.
